Name of Project: “Cloning and Characterization of salt tolerance conferring vacuolar N⁺/H⁺ antiporter (NHX1) genes from prosopis juliflora (SW.) DC. & Salvadoro persico L.”

Name of Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/ Junior Project Fellow (JPF)

No. of Post: 01 (One) Either JRF or JPF

Emoluments:

• For JRF INR 31,000/- pm + HRA as per rule
• For JPF INR 16,000/- pm + HRA as per rule

Essential Qualification:

1. First Class M.Sc.{with a minimum of 6O% marks or Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology or Plant Sciences (Botany) in Biotechnology and/or Molecular Biology with NET for JRF.
2. First Class M.Sc.(with a minimum of 6O% marks or Biotechnology/Molecular Biology or Plant Sciences(Botany) in Biotechnology and/or Molecular Biology for JPF.

Desirable qualification & other condition: Preferences will be given to practical experience in general molecular biology techniques and working knowledge of computer-based office productivity tools. NET Qualified candidates would be given more Weiehtage.

Duration of the project: Tenure of the project (2019 – 2022)

Age limit: As on 01-06-2019 is 28 (relaxable by 5 years for SC, ST, Women, Physically Handicapped & 3 years for OBC candidates).

1. Either JRF or JPF will be selected subject to fulfilling of essential and desirable qualification prescribed.
2. The positions are purely on ad-hoc basis and co-terminus with the projects period or fellowship duration, whichever is earlier
3. Original Certificates will be verified at the time of interview.
4. No TA/DA will be admissible for participating in the interview.
5. Candidates should report one hour before the commencement of the interview.
6. The candidates have to strictly follow the form annexed (typed/filled) duly signed and submit on the date of interview.
