University of Calcutta Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Position
The University of Calcutta is conducting a walk-in interview for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position available under the guidance of Prof. Anirban Siddhanta of Dept of Biochemistry.
Project Title: “Functional Regulation of Leghemoglobin During Symbiotic Nitrogen Fixation”
Funded by: SERB (DST, Govt. of India)
Position Title: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Qualification required: M. Sc. Degree with a minimum of 55% marks in any branch of Life Science with valid NET-LS/GATE qualification.
Desirable: Postgraduate in Plant Sciences with strong inclination to work in the area of plant biochemistry and molecular cellular biology.
The upper age limit for JRF shall be 28 years, which is relaxed up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Schedule Castes/Schedule Tribes, Women, Physically Handicapped and OBC applicants.
Fellowship and admissible allowances per month will be as per the sanction of the funding agency and also as per norms of this University.
Tenure of the position is initially for one year and will be co-terminus with the project (21.04.2022).
