Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE) has launched a scheme ‘Partnering Academic Industrial Research (PAIR)’ for establishing a partnership in high-quality collaborative research between R&D institutions, academia and industry.
Under the scheme, a post-doctoral programme for two years is designed with collaboration from M/s. Mag Genome Technologies Pvt Ltd, Cochin, M. G. University and KSCSTE to develop an automated magnetic nanoparticle-based purification system for biomolecules.
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post-doctoral programme. Successful candidate, if found suitable, stands a chance to be absorbed on a regular position by the industry on completion of the programme.

Essential qualification: M.Sc. or M.Tech. with Ph.D. in any area of Life Sciences or Biotechnology or Biomedical Engineering
Desirable experience: 2–3 years of research experience in Molecular biology/ cell biology/ immunology/ biomedical engineering/ biotechnology as part of academic or industrial projects.
Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in equipment design and automation.
Fellowship: Rs 40,000 per month (consolidated) for a period of two years
