Applications are invited from highly motivated individuals for the below-mentioned positions of PA-I & PA-II to work under a project funded by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, New Delhi entitled “TECHNOLOGICAL CONVERGENCE FOR SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTION AND UTILISATION OF SEAWEEDS (TCSPROUS)”.
Post: Project Assistant –I
Number of Posts: 03
Qualification for Project Assistant Level I: B.Sc. in Chemical/Biological Sciences or B.Sc. in Agriculture Sciences with 55%.
Fellowship: Rs 15,000 as per CSIR-CSMCRI guidelines
Post: Project Assistant –II
Number of Posts: 04
Qualification for Project Assistant Level I: M.Sc. in Chemistry or Marine Science/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/Plant Sciences/ Biochemistry/ Agriculture with 55%.
Fellowship: Rs 25,000 as per CSIR-CSMCRI guidelines
Age Limit: Age limit for Project Assistant at the level I/IIwill be as 28/30/35 years respectively which is relaxable upto 5 years for statutory groups & Women.
Job Requirements: Selected candidate will be required to work in the area of extraction/synthesis of novel natural products from seaweeds and development of new formulations or functional materials for potential food, pharma and agricultural applications (biostimulant).

Interested candidates meeting the above requirements may attend the written test followed by walk-in-interview with a copy of detailed biodata, original certificates along with their attested photocopies and a passport size photograph on 20th May’ 2019 (Monday) at 9.30 A.M. at Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute, G B Marg, Bhavnagar-364002.
The selection of candidates will be done by conducting a screening test followed by personal interview of the short listed candidates on the same day.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. In case you are employed in a Government/Semi-Government or Autonomous Organization, you should bring with you a No Objection Certificate from your present employer otherwise you will not be allowed to appear for the interview.
