National Institute of Animal Biotechnology
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the following position at National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad.
One position of Junior Research Fellow against the following project:
(i) BIRAC funded project entitled “Development of point-of-care diagnostics for detection of venom proteins of Naja naja (Cobra) and Bungarus caeruleus (Krait) in envenomed animals” PI: Dr. Pankaj Suman, Scientist-C; (Project Duration – 6 months).
Fellowship amount: Rs. 25000/- + 30% HRA = 32,500/- PM as per the DST guidelines.
Age: 28 years (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government
Master’s Degree in Life Sciences (Biochemistry, Biotechnology etc.) with NET qualification. Non-NET candidates can also attend the interview who will be paid as per their eligibility.
Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course (MVSc, M.Tech in Life Sciences etc.)
Candidates should have expertise in recombinant protein expression and purification/ monoclonal antibody generation/maintenance of mammalian cell culture/ aptamer selection. Candidate having previous work experience in the areas of lateral flow-based assay development will be preferred.
