Applications are invited from eligible candidates (Indian Nationals only) on a plain paper or in the attached format (Form B, must fill the items in bold) for the following position(s) in the research project “STRUCTURE-FUNCTION STUDIES OF FUNGAL OR BACTERIAL LYTIC POLYSACCHARIDE MONOOXYGENASES”.

Number of positions: One
Age limit: 28 years
Fellowship/ Honorarium/Stipend: Rs. 10,000/-
Tenure of the Post: 10 months (Up to July-2019) (may be extended depending on performance)
Name of the Project Investigator: Jogi Madhuprakash
M.Sc. in Molecular Microbiology/ Life Sciences/or equivalent with at least 70% aggregate marks.
Candidates having lab experience in molecular microbiology, gene cloning, protein production using bacterial/Pichia overexpression systems and protein purification techniques will be preferred. Experience in protein structure modeling and docking will be an added advantage.
Applicants should note that the appointments to be made are purely temporary and they have no right for claiming for any regular appointment in the University.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the written test/skill test or at the time of joining.
