Applications are invited for one Junior research fellow/Project fellow (purely temporary) in a DBT Multi-institutional Research Project entitled “Diversity and molecular characterization of microsymbiont-Legume association in Meghalaya and Nagaland for developing consortia of microsymbionts with wide host range”
DBT-Twinning Programme for NER 2017-18 Age limit (As on the date of interview): Shall not be more than 28 years Age relaxation: As per Govt. of India rules.
Master Degree in Biotechnology/ Microbiology/Botany with min. 55% marks from any recognized University/Institute. NET/SLET/GATE qualified candidates will be given preference.
Experience in field survey, culturing of bacteria and molecular techniques. Preference will be given to candidate with experience of working on legume-rhizobia symbiosis.
Three years; Position is co-terminus with the project
25,000/-per month + 20% HRA for NET/GATE qualified and for the non-NET candidates as per funding agency, Govt. of India rules.
