Walk-in interview for Junior Research Fellow (JRF)position (upto 2) in Wellcome-DBT India Alliance project on 5th February 2018.
Title of Project: “Post-transcriptional regulators of aging and dietary/calorie restriction”.
Initially for 1 year, may be extended on annual evaluation till the duration of the project.

Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science with NET qualification or Graduate Degree in Professional Course with NET qualification or Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course.
Candidates with hands-on experience in advanced RNA biology techniques and/or Drosophila genetics will be given preference.
Principal investigator: Dr. Geetanjali Chawla, Wellcome-DBT Intermediate Fellow
Fellowship: Rs. 25,000 plus HRA @ 30 %
Eligible candidates are requested to appear for Walk-in-interview with all their certificates at the following address at 10:30 AM on 5th February 2018 along with filled application forms (attached). Candidates will be entertained for the interview only after verification of documents. Candidates who come after 11:30 AM will not be considered.

Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB), an institution of education, training and research is established by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India under the auspices of UNESCO. The Centre will focus on cooperatively working towards shared biotechnology growth in the Asia-Pacific Region. Regional interactions in biotechnology will promote co-operation amongst the countries to develop the necessary infrastructure and capacity building for the economic benefit of our societies. The Centre would be beneficial in developing knowledge-rich, highly skilled human resource to all countries in the region. RCB will be part of the Biotech Science Cluster (BSC) and will operate in synergy with the other institutions in the Cluster.
